Wow!! what great news for the new couple.

Katie Price’s ex husband Alex Reid and Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton have confirmed that they are pregnant!! Chantelle has given an interview in this weeks OK magazine about her bundle of joy and we are bringing you some highlights from it.

Congratulations, Chantelle!

Thank you! Oh my god! I’m pregnant! Let me through – I am going to the yummiest mummy there is. I’m milking it trust me. I’ve told my friends and family, if  I’m going through it, you’re all going through it. Alex is desperate to know if it’s a boy or a girl but I can’t tell him until the fourth month scan. We want to know the baby’s sex.

How many weeks are you now?

I’m 11 weeks. I don’t exactly know when the baby was conceived. I can’t even believe I am pregnant. I went to Orlando and went on loads of rollercoasters not knowing. I found out four weeks ago – it has been hard keeping it a secret. I can’t wait to go crazy shopping for the baby.

Have you thought about whether you want a boy or a girl?

We are so blessed to be having a baby, I really don’t mind. We did joke that a little girl would come out with blonde hair extensions and a boy coming out as a cage fighter! If it is a boy it will be a bruiser definitely!

The sceptics will question whether you were really told if you were infertile….

I don’t care what they’ve got to say. I am so happy with my life. I have bundles of reports and tests , pages and pages at home. I don’t need to prove anything to anyone but I can if I need to.

How has it affected your relationship with Alex?

We are stronger than ever. It’s brilliant. We have been together for nearly nine months but it just feels so right. We don’t argue. There are no issues. Me and Alex are just like kids, two peas in a pod.
